Our Process
The best work is planned, giving good ideas room to grow and great stories the care they deserve.
Production Phases
The Golden Rule of Production
Every decision gets more expensive as the project moves forward. That's why we spend so much time planning up front—it gives us the freedom to create with confidence when the cameras start rolling.
-
This is the foundation. Time spent aligning on objectives, target audience, tone, key message, and success metrics prevents costly changes downstream. Before we think about cameras or locations, we spend time understanding your goals, your audience, and what success looks like. The clearer we are at the beginning, the smoother everything else becomes.
-
This is where ideas take shape. Together, we'll explore concepts, refine messaging, and make sure everyone is excited about the direction before production begins.
Changes are inexpensive on paper and expensive on set. Taking the time to get it right here pays off later.
-
The best shoot days are usually the least exciting to plan. That's because all the hard work has already been done.
We coordinate schedules, scout locations, secure permits, book crew, organize equipment, and think through the details so production day can stay focused on creating great work.
-
This is where the planning comes to life.
With a solid foundation in place, our team can focus on capturing authentic moments, solving problems in real time, and making the most of every minute on set. Good production feels calm because the preparation has already happened.
-
This is where the story finds its rhythm.
Editing, color, sound, music, and graphics all come together to create a polished final piece. We work collaboratively through review rounds, refining the story until everyone is confident it's ready to share.
A standard post workflow includes:
Offline edit (assembly → rough cut → fine cut)
Client review rounds (typically 2–3 rounds are scoped)
Picture lock (no further editorial changes after this point)
Color grade, Sound Mix, Music Clearance
Online / Final conform and format delivery
-
Before anything leaves our hands, we make sure it's ready for yours.
Whether it's a broadcast spot, a website video, or a social campaign, we handle formatting, quality control, and final delivery so you can launch with confidence.
The single biggest lever a client has on quality and timeline is responsiveness. Productions stall most often waiting on approvals, feedback, or decisions around creative — not on technical work.
Your Role as
Our Client
What Makes Timelines Expand?
Late or incomplete creative approvals — every waiting day adds to the calendar
Scope changes mid-process (new deliverables, format changes, re-shoots)
Talent, location, or permit availability — especially for high-demand markets
Legal and compliance review cycles (particularly in regulated industries)
Revision rounds beyond what was scoped for post production
Designate a single point of contact with authority to approve creative
Designate a single point of contact with authority to approve legal
Respond to review requests within the agreed window (typically 1-3 business days)
Consolidate feedback — one round of focused notes beats three rounds of scattered ones
Treat picture lock as a true lock, post-lock changes are expensive and time-consuming
Flag any scope changes early and expect that they affect both budget and schedule
